Cross-Promoting Kengan Ashura with NetflixI worked with our partners to market the new Kengan Ashura Netflix movie, running a two-week cross-promotion with Netflix. This campaign boosted visibility for both the movie and Comikey, bringing more fans to the series.

Expanding Comikey’s Catalog with MEDIA DO, AKE Culture & MoreI worked to secure a major partnership with MEDIA DO and AKE Culture, bringing even more titles to Comikey, including new manga from MediBang and Square Enix. This deal strengthened our catalog, ensuring a steady flow of fresh content for our readers.
Meeting Brazilian Publishers for lunch
Launching Comikey Brazil – A First for the MarketI led Comikey’s expansion into Brazil, securing exclusive Portuguese licensing deals from major Korean publishers in an unprecedented deal (Red Dog Culture House Co., Ltd., RS Media Inc. and DCC Ent co., LTD). This made Comikey Brazil the first-ever manga streaming platform tailored for the Brazilian market, bringing localized content to a whole new audience.
Securing a Massive Square Enix Licensing DealWorking with our partners at Square Enix, I helped secure an exclusive deal to localize and publish over 150 manga titles on Comikey. This was a game-changing moment, massively expanding our catalog and solidifying Comikey as a key player in digital manga publishing.

Expanding Comikey’s Catalog to More LanguagesI worked with our partners to bring Thank You, Isekai! to Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, and Bahasa Indonesian. This expansion made the series accessible to even more readers worldwide, strengthening our commitment to multilingual content.
Bringing Osamu Tezuka’s Works to ComikeyI secured a business partnership with Digital Manga Publishing, bringing some of Osamu Tezuka’s most renowned series to Comikey. This deal introduced legendary titles from the creator of Astro Boy, marking a major milestone for our platform.
Bringing ABLAZE Comics to ComikeyI secured a partnership with ABLAZE, adding five new comics to Comikey and expanding our selection beyond manga into more diverse storytelling.

Leading Comikey’s Multilingual ExpansionI helped lead Comikey’s expansion into multiple languages, bringing Kengan Omega to Spanish, Portuguese, and Bahasa Indonesian readers. This move was a big step in making manga more accessible to a global audience. It marked the beginning of our push to localize content for fans worldwide!

Hosted Industry Panel at Anime NYC (New York, NY)Represented Comikey Media Inc. at Anime NYC 2021, introducing newly acquired manga series and engaging with the anime and manga community.
Bringing Square Enix Manga to ComikeyWorking alongside Link-U, I built connections with Square Enix Japan, which led to Comikey acquiring the license for 10 new manga titles. This partnership helped us expand our catalog with high-quality content from a major publisher. It was another big step in growing Comikey’s presence in the industry!
Hosted First Industry Panel at Kumoricon (Portland, OR)Represented Comikey Media Inc. at Kumoricon 2021, introducing newly acquired manga series and engaging with the anime/manga community.
Bringing Hakusensha Manga to Comikey with Link-UWorking with Link-U, I built relationships with Hakusensha, leading to a partnership that brought their manga titles to Comikey. This deal expanded our library with even more amazing series from a top Japanese publisher. Another big step in making Comikey a go-to platform for manga fans!

This partnership added a diverse range of series to our platform, making high-quality content more accessible to readers. Growing our catalog with such respected publishers was a major win!
Joined DeepBiologics as Software Engineer
- DeepBiologics is a biotech company using AI to improve disease diagnostics.
- Built an AI-powered image processing tool using TensorFlow and Python, improving disease COVID-19 detection accuracy by 9%.
Building Bridges to Bring Shogakukan on BoardI worked with Yuuki Matsubara, CEO of Link-U Inc., to build connections with Shogakukan. Through these efforts, I was able to secure a licensing deal, bringing MangaOne titles to Comikey. This partnership was a major step in expanding our manga catalog and making high-quality content available to Western readers.
Driving Comikey’s Growth with Link-U’s BackingI led the investment round in which Link-U Inc. entered into a capital and business alliance with Comikey Media Inc. on June 10, 2021. With a shared vision of building a comic platform for the Western market, Link-U acquired a stake in Comikey.
2020
Jaimini’s Box Officially Shuts Down
Jaiminis Box started off as a very small team in mid 2015, scanlating Black Clover using Microsoft Paint. Over the months, more talented people Joined, and teams merged (Oni-Scans) changing the landscape and identity into what we are today.
We had been operating from 2015 - 2020, a solid 5 years. This is essentially a quarter of our current lives spent working together as a team, as a tight knit family. To us, this was time very well spent. We made a lot of connections, interacted with over 500 unique team members, trained over 300 people in Typesetting, Redrawing and Cleaning, nurturing the next generations of scanlators. We started from the bottom, and became one of the most historic third generation Scanlation teams in the history of Scanlation. We went from being a team of nobodies, to a team well respected by both peers and foes alike.
As all good things must come to an end, we wish all our members the very best in life! This is not exactly a final goodbye, all our members are more than welcome to stick around on our Discord server and Slack!
Our team at worked on 140+ series, delivering 6,000+ chapters and 268,000+ pages to readers worldwide. With 500+ team members contributing over 25,000+ hours, we built something truly special for the community. It was an incredible journey, and I’m proud of what we accomplished together.

My First Step into Digital Publishing – Oni-ScansBack in 2013, while still in high school, I founded Oni-Scans, my first scanlation group. It was my entry into the world of manga localization, setting the foundation for everything that came after. This passion project eventually led me to bigger things in the industry.
